The Educational Update section of The Buckeye, Volume 22, Issue 9, the monthly magazine of the Ohio Nurserymen and Landscape Association, consists of an article titled Phlox 101: Perspectives on an Underutilized Genus of Native Plants written by Peter Zale and Pablo Jourdan. The article provides a brief overview of some of the Phlox species that are being acquired by the OPGC as part of its efforts to develop a comprehensive germplasm collection of one of its priority genera. The article provides background on Phlox paniculata, P. glaberrima, P. maculata, P. divaricata and P. pilosa.
